Kindness in the Community
At Stanway Pre-School, we believe that kindness is something children learn best by doing, not just hearing about it. Throughout the year, our children take part in simple, meaningful activities that connect them with the wider community, from litter picks around the local area to visits to nearby care homes, where they spend time chatting, singing and sharing smiles with the residents.

These moments matter. They teach our youngest children that they are part of something bigger than the preschool walls, and that even small acts of care can make a real difference to someone's day. For our older residents, a visit from a room full of curious, cheery faces is often the highlight of their week. It's a small tradition that says a great deal about who we are as a setting, and the kind of people we hope our children grow up to be.
